Responsibilities: As the new position holder you will be responsible for the identification, specification, realisation and testing of new algorithms based on sensor data within mechanical ventilation software projects. Cooperation with external clinical partners and validation of your ideas at the bedside will be an integral part of the role. You will also be involved in the execution of clinical trials and analysis of clinical data. In this position you will be a member of a small research team.   Qualifications: University degree in the field of computer science, mathematics, physics or equivalent Practical knowhow of algorithm design, signal processing, machine learning, time series, acquiring and processing sensor data Good programming skills in C, C++ or other object oriented languages as well as in Matlab, Python or similar High degree of independence in problem solving Fluent in English language These qualifications or experience would give you an advantage: PhD Research or development experience in the field of mechanical ventilation or medical devices Knowhow in the field of respiratory physiology and mechanical ventilation German language skills   Are you interested?
